Dear Progressive Caucus Members,

The next Progressive Caucus meeting will take place at the DSCC EBoard meeting in Manhattan on October 1, 2005 (details posted below) Hopefully by now most of you know that will be electing our first set of permanent officers for the Caucus Executive Board. The term of officers is two years. The positions available include: 

1. Southern California Co-chair*

2. Northern California Co-chair*

3. Vice-chair

4. Secretary

5. Parliamentarian

6. Treasurer

7. At-large officers (3 positions available)

If you are interested in running for an officer position, please send a short bio to progressivecaucuscdpINFO@hotmail.com. Bios will be posted on the website. Nominations will also be taken from the floor at the meeting.

* Please note that in order to run for either of the Co-chair positions, you must be a delegate to the DSCC.

To be eligible to run for any of the officer positions, you must have been a member of the Caucus for 30 days prior to the election (September 1, 2005.)

In order to vote, you must be a member in good standing, and pay dues of $10 at the meeting. You may send a proxy in your stead who also must be in good standing, to vote for you.
