Stephen Rohde, Constitutional Attorney
Quoting from "The Case for Impeachment," Rohde enumerates six articles including: the false statements leading us into war; ignoring warnings of attacks before 9/11 and the subsequent obstruction of the investigation; detention of citizens without charges and denying speedy trial in violation of the 4th amendment and FISA (1978);allowing disclosure of a CIA operative and conspiring to coverup the vice-president's role in the public disclosure;ignoring the Nuremberg and Genega Conventions on conduct of war, sanctioning torture and renditions, illegal invasion of a country causing no immediate threat;criminal negligence ignoring environmental protection, election, and other laws, failing to protect the lives and property during the national emergency of Katrina, and ignoring the clear evidence of potentially disastrous global warming.
The first step, Rohde explained, is taking back Congress in November with a Democratic majority. (c)2006,Linda Sutton
